The Solar Installer Accelerator is a solar pv and battery installation training programme designed to accelerate the number of locally based businesses entering and benefiting from the UK's growing solar market.
Developed by Green Economy, MCS Certified and local partners, the course provides qualified electricians with the skills and knowledge to enter the renewable energy market and run a thriving, solar installation business

The programme provides:
The course is open to any business or sole traders meeting the following requirements:
Day 1 & 2
Level 3 Battery Storage - EAL Awarding Body – South West Electrical Training Delivery
Day 3 & 4
Level 3 Solar Installation - EAL Awarding Body – South West Electrical Training Delivery
Day 5
2 hours of roofing training, MCS Guest Speaker, Green Economy Marketplace, Solar Calculator, 1-1 Green Economy support and paperwork sign off.
We're hosting a series of courses in West Yorkshire to help local engineers enter and thrive in the local solar market.
This project is part-funded by UK Government via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
