Chemicals Northwest and Green Economy are joining forces for a focused, practical event tackling the growing challenge of rising energy costs, supply chain pressures and operational risk across the chemicals sector.

With ongoing global instability driving unprecedented energy price volatility, this session will explore what the current landscape means for chemical businesses β€” and, crucially, how to respond.

What to expect:

  • An overview of the current energy landscape, global pressures and key findings
  • What rising energy costs and risk mean specifically for the chemicals sector
  • Interactive roundtable workshops (10 minutes per table) covering:
    • Energy efficiency & smarter energy data use
    • Supply chain sustainability requirements
    • Investing in renewables
  • Short presentations highlighting the practical support Green Economy offers across each of these areas
An outline of funded support available to Greater Manchester–based chemical companies

The session will conclude with a networking lunch, offering the opportunity to connect with peers, experts and delivery partners.
