In partnership with delivery partners Nesta and MCS, the heat pump peer network is designed to help newly trained heat pump installers in Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire develop confidence and grow sector capabilities within the regions.

The scheme connects newly qualified installers with established suppliers, providing a mentoring framework. Mentees will shadow the mentor at work, providing on-site learning adapted to the mentees' interests and ambitions. The mentor will then work with the mentee on an installation of their own, providing support as needed and giving feedback on the installation.

With benefits for new installers and established suppliers, the scheme aims to grow the sector by connecting the local supply chain and closing the skills gap, as well as providing both mentor and mentee with access to Green Economy's lead generation network.

You can read more about the scheme and apply to take part on the dedicated website.
