On 24 February 2025, the Procurement Act 2023 will come into force, changing the way the public sector buys goods and services. Here’s everything you need to know.

The new legislation aims to improve and speed-up procurement processes, providing better oversight and streamlining of procurement decisions and payment terms. In particular, the Act will:
Under the new Act, it will be easier to bid for contracts with a centralised digital platform, featuring simple registration and enabling you to swiftly update core info as your organisation develops.
Public procurement opportunities will also be made publicly visible without the need for paid platforms or set up alerts in order to access tenders.
